Sarasota Ophthalmology is the longest established eye-care facility in the area and has enjoyed a very favorable reputation and a long list of referrals from the medical community.  We take great care of our patients in a comfortable office setting. Since its inception in the 1950's, Sarasota Ophthalmology has taken pride in maintaining the finest standards attainable in medical excellence.

Our state-of-the-art clinic is located less than 1/2 of a mile south of Sarasota Memorial Hospital, located at 2121 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Florida.  Prior to moving to our new facility in 2008, we were in the Waldemere Medical Center, adjacent to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, under the name of Sarasota Ophthalmology Associates.

Our Board Certified Physicians and Surgeons; Cornelius Halvey, M.D., F.A.C.S. & David Campbell, M.D., F.A.C.S., have experience in every major field of ophthalmological diagnosis, treatment and after-care including: No-Stitch Small Incision Cataract Surgery, Eyelid and Plastic Surgery, Laser Procedures, Glaucoma, Diabetes care and Botox injections.
